Account Director

GreenZone is seeking an Account Director to oversee business development and client delivery across DHS (to include: TSA, ICE, CBP, FEMA, Coast Guard, and USCIS). In this new role, the Account Director will be responsible for client delivery, staff management, leadership, account growth, and strategy. A key feature of the Account Director is direct access to a no-nonsense, high-energy corporate team ready to fully support rapid growth, significant account autonomy, and uncapped bonus potential. In this role you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing contracts, while building domain expertise and client intimacy to achieve GreenZone’s account goals
  • Oversee the completion of corporate initiatives to achieve established corporate goals
  • Working with programmatic subject matter experts, develop marketable capabilities and approaches
  • Develop, coach, and retain high-performance teams, supporting career advancement, span of control, delivery quality, and ability to support proposals
  • Be committed to superior quality in every aspect of account management
  • Manage existing teaming partnerships (Prime and Subcontractor) and develop future teaming partnerships
  • Work with GreenZone Business Development Team to develop and execute an aggressive campaign across the account to expand business within current programs and grow business through new opportunities
  • Manage account P&L, working to achieve account profitability goals
  • Lead proposal development efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, computer science, quantitatively-focused social sciences, or other quantitative field preferred
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required, or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience, 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and subcontractors
  • Experience managing $3M+/year P&L
  • DHS experience and relationships
  • Ability to oversee the development of high-quality client deliverables
  • Experience leading the design of visually appealing, creative marketing materials
  • Experience developing compliant, compelling, winning proposals
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government clearance required
